Minsmere in May

Back in May we spent a few days up at Dunwich Heath in Suffolk. The main reason for this trip was to spend some time at the RSPB reserve at Minsmere to try and photograph Bittern in flight.
Mick has often seen Bittern in reed beds but never in flight and was very pleased with the result.

After the success with the Bittern we looked around other areas of the reserve and were quite pleased with these images of a Grey Heron.
